Join us at the annual convention of the Phoenix & Consolidated Glass Collectors' Club on July 28-30, 2016 at the Embassy Suites Pittsburgh Airport. 

We are delighted to have the opportunity to invite you to the Phoenix & Consolidated Glass Collectors’ Club Convention held at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Pittsburgh Airport, in Coraopolis, PA from July 28-30, 2016.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS

To reserve your room for the convention, contact the Embassy Suites Pittsburgh Airport in Coraopolis PA and request the PCGCC convention rate in one of three ways:

  • Contact the hotel directly by calling (412) 269-9070 and ask for reservations
  • Contact Embassy Suites toll-free by calling (800) EMBASSY
  • Contact the hotel via fax at (412) 264-1800

Convention activities begin on the evening of Thursday July 28 and end after the Banquet the evening of Saturday July 30. Special convention rates are ($134.00) (same rate for single or double rooms). 

Reservations can be made until the end of day June 30. After that, the hotel will release the unreserved rooms for sale to the general public. Reservations made after June 30 will be accepted at the space available rate.
If you have any questions or issues in making your reservations, please contact the hotel directly and speak with Sonja Matokovich, Senior Sales Manager who is our convention contact person at the hotel.

Convention Field Trip

Friday July, 29

9 am-3 pm Members Field trip to the Heinz History Center followed by lunch in the Strip District.

This Year we have secured the 5th floor “Presidential Suite” which will serve both as our Hospitality

Room AND our Members’ Sales Room. A central location to meet, greet, shop & eat.

THURSDAY, 7/28

6:30 AM - 10:00 AM

Complimentary breakfast for hotel guests.

2 PM – 4 PM

5th floor - Presedential Suite

Get Acquainted/Show & Tell: We will “kick off” the Convention with announcements, introductions, and a “Show   & Tell” session. Be sure to bring any great finds to talk about, to share, to discuss and identify.

4:30 PM - 7:00 PM

PM Hospitality Room open - pick up Convention Packets. Hospitality Room Members Sales Room opens for   consignments.

5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Manager’s Reception for hotel guests.

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Display and Hospitality Rooms open to the public.

FRIDAY, 7/29

6:30 AM - 10:00 AM

Complimentary breakfast for hotel guests.

8:30AM 

Meet in the lobby for members field trip to the Heinz History Center followed by lunch in the Strip District. 

5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Dinner on your own.

4:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Professional auctioneers donate their time and services to our Club every year. Please thank them when you see them!

For tax purposes, you must be a   paid-up member of the Club and pay the Convention registration fee to bid or   to consign at the Members Only

Auction. We WILL be accepting new Memberships prior to   the start of the Auction. PLEASE   NOTE: Convention Registration is also   required to participate in our Auction.
